Visiting the IHGS

The Institute is located in the historic Northgate area of Canterbury just 5 minutes walk from the ancient Cathedral. The building is easily recognisable with its heraldic shields and Georgian frontage and is half way down Northgate Street.

Arriving By Car

Being an ancient city, car parking is at a premium in Canterbury although there are several car parks within a few minutes walk of the Institute, with a maximum 12 hour stay.
